Two Circuit Court judges from Clark County Indiana were shot Wednesday morning, May 1 in a White Castle parking lot. The judges were in Indianapolis to participate in a judicial conference. Indianapolis police indicated that there was no evidence that they were targeted because they were judges.
Judge Drew Adams was listed in stable condition and Judge Brad Jacobs was listed in critical condition. One account of the incident indicated that the judges had been in a neighboring establishment resulting in an argument spilling into the restaurant parking lot. A later account however indicated that a car pulled up while the judges were standing in the restaurant parking lot where they were shot.
